Give Back

Charitable Giving Opportunities for Friends of Camp Nebagamon

Everyone who has been lucky enough to spend time at Camp Nebagamon knows these words:

“All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own” and “This shall be a place of welcome for all.”

Since 1929, Camp Nebagamon’s directors, campers, staff, families, alumni and friends have generously helped children attend camp whose families could not otherwise have afforded it. The Nebagamon community has always embraced and celebrated differences.

Thanks to hundreds of donors and volunteers, today two tremendous 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organizations continue this spirit of generosity and diversity with even greater reach and impact. Please join us in sustaining this tradition of giving back, welcoming all and sharing the life-changing experience of a summer at camp.

Camperships

Founded in 2005, our Camperships program helps send boys to Camp Nebagamon, regardless of their families’ ability to pay. The goal of this program is to diversify the community of campers by virtue of their racial, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic status, building on of Camp Nebagamon’s core Values: “This shall be a place of welcome for all”..

Capital Campaign

“Keeping The Fires Burning” is a $10 million capital campaign aimed at facilitating the purchase and transition of Camp Nebagamon from a private, family run business into a tax-exempt non-profit model. This endeavor also establishes emergency reserves that will safeguard the long-term financial stability of Camp, ensuring that the cherished memories created here will endure for generations to come.

CNSF

Founded in 1947 by Muggs Lorber and administered by Nardie and Sally Lorber Stein for 50+ years, the Camp Nebagamon Scholarship Fund is a growing force for good among alumni and friends of Camp Nebagamon. Contributions to the Camp Nebagamon Scholarship Fund support tuition scholarships at non-profit summer camps that specialize in serving youth who experience poverty and disability.
