Another month of quiet here at camp has allowed a small heard of deer move in. These seven white-tailed deer, including twin fawns have made the 77 acres we all love home.
Did you know?
- White-tailed deer are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk
- Females leave their fawns in a hiding spot for many hours while they graze
- Fawns, another name for the young white-tailed deer, have spots to help them camouflage
